Cryotherapy

The use of cold therapy to treat injury and pain dates back to 2500 BC in ancient Egypt. There are many forms of modern cold treatment. You can find several at our lounge, including a chamber, localized, and facials. Cold therapy offers various health benefits, including reduced inflammation, pain relief, improved mental health and well-being, and quicker recovery from exercise or injuries.

Whole-Body Cryotherapy

A Cryo Chamber is a small, enclosed space for therapeutic exposure to freezing temperatures. Upon entering, you wear protective clothing as the chamber is cooled using liquid nitrogen, reaching temperatures as low as -200 degrees Fahrenheit. The session lasts up to three minutes. Participants wear protective clothing like thick socks and gloves.

Cryo Facial

Cryo facials focus on minimizing redness and irritation on facial skin, aiming to diminish localized inflammation and visible issues like acne scarring, eczema, and psoriasis. Using a specialized wand, the treatment delivers skin-tightening vapors, effectively flushing out toxins and reducing impurities. This safe process allows for daily cryo facials, providing a natural enhancement to your skin without any risks to your health.

Localized Cryotherapy

While localized therapy sessions last about 3 to 10 minutes, it has benefits that surpass traditional icing by hours. The intense cold prompts blood vessels to constrict, immediately reducing inflammation and swelling in the targeted areas.

Testimonials

“Whole-body cryotherapy was first introduced back in the 1970s by Japanese researcher Dr. Toshima Yamauchi to treat rheumatoid arthritis and relieve pain. It wasn’t long before Yamauchi discovered that the therapeutic effects of cryotherapy stretched beyond his patients with arthritis and could also be used to treat injuries and inflammation”
